In 2370, on stardate 46853, transferred to stellar physics department of U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. On stardate 47025.4, assigned bridge duty, tactical station as part of skeleton crew remaining on Enterprise, commanded by Dr. Beverly Crusher. (Majority of crew, including Captain Jean-Luc Picard, had beamed down to uncharted planet to search for Lieutenant Commander Data, who had been kidnapped by self-aware Borg. With the Enterprise hiding in the corona of a star, under attack by Borg ship, Taitt, acting as shipΓÇÖs science officer, devised a plan that successfully induced a solar-fusion eruption, destroying the enemy ship. Taitt promoted to Lieutenant, junior grade in 2371. Served with distinction in stellar physics and stellar cartography department. In 2371, Taitt promoted to lieutenant. After destruction of Enterprise-D, transferred to stellar physics department, U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-E.
